It allows version control of documentation, ensures access to the most current files, controls who has access to data and documents, enables storage of CAD models and accompanying documents (from emails to images) in an indexed central repository on the company’s server that tracks versions and automates workflow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n ****) Specific functionality called “configurations” in the SolidWorks engineering package enables great flexibility and robustness in parametric design of technical products.
