With the Support of the European Union, the Cross Border Coworking Conference 2025 Successfully Held: Confirming the Importance of Cross-Border Collaboration and Joint Development of the Coworking Ecosystem<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

October 17, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Thanks to the financial support of the European Union, within the STAR project, which promotes tourism and attracts digital nomads to rural cross-border areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, the four-day Cross Border Coworking Conference (CBCC) 2025<\/strong> was successfully held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference, which took place from October 14 to 17 in the Bay of Kotor, brought together around 170 representatives of coworking spaces, digital nomads, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and representatives of the public and private sectors from the region, Europe, and worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBCC 2025 confirmed its role as a key regional platform for promoting innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable tourism based on the concept of coworking and cross-border collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through lectures, workshops, and panels, participants exchanged experiences on the future of work, the role of artificial intelligence in marketing, networking within coworking communities, and the importance of connecting with local communities. Speakers included internationally recognized experts Rowena Hennigan and Nora Dunn, while interactive sessions such as \u201cBoost Your Marketing with AI\u201d and \u201cPitch Your Coworking\u201d drew particular interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During excursions in Kotor, participants had the opportunity to further connect and explore the cultural richness of the Bay of Kotor, with the support of the local community and the Mayor of Kotor, Vladimir Joki\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regional Collaboration as a Key to Sustainable Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organizers \u2013 INTERA Technology Park (Mostar), Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis (Nik\u0161i\u0107), and the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro<\/strong> \u2013 emphasized that CBCC represents an example of how joint initiatives and projects can help the region build a resilient and sustainable community of innovators and entrepreneurs. \u201cCBCC has become more than a conference \u2013 it is a movement that connects people, ideas, and values. This year, we demonstrated that collaboration without borders is not just a slogan, but a reality we are building together,\u201d the organizers stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remote work, especially in rural areas, has been recognized as one of the key development opportunities for cross-border regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is recommended that through the continuation of the STAR project and similar initiatives, collaboration among countries in the region is further strengthened, new work models are supported, and the mobility of digital professionals is increased, with the message that the community gathered around coworking and the nomadic movement continues to grow and strengthen \u2013 knowing no borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The STAR Project \u2013 Enhancing Tourism Offerings in the Cross-Border Area by Attracting Digital Nomads to Rural Areas \u2013 is being implemented through the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Bosnia and Herzegovina \u2013 Montenegro 2021\u20132027.
