Hackathon “My Smart City 2025” in Zadar! 

The City of Zadar, in collaboration with INTERA Technology Park Mostar, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis (Nikšić), BIT Center Tuzla, and the University of Zadar, is organizing the hackathon “My Smart City 2025,” which will take place on December 2–3, 2025, at the Providur Palace in Zadar. 

What can participants expect? 

• A marathon-style competition where teams develop innovative solutions — mobile apps, websites, or concept ideas 

• Access to mentors and technical support 

• Free Wi-Fi, food, and drinks 

• Prizes for the top three teams: 

• 1st place – €1000 

• 2nd place – €800 

• 3rd place – €600 

The hackathon is intended for high school students and university students, with the topics kept secret and revealed on the day the event begins. Participants can join individually or in teams consisting of 1 to 4 members. Team members from Bosnia and Herzegovina must be 18 years or older. 

Participants are required to bring their own devices (laptop, mobile phone, tablet) and any other equipment necessary for working on their solution. Transportation and hotel accommodation are provided for teams from Tuzla, Mostar, and Nikšić.

Along with your registration, please send a short motivation letter to info@intera.ba. If you have previously participated in any hackathon, make sure to mention and describe it in that document. 

The hackathon is organized as part of the project “Cooperation for Development of Cross Border Business Environment Strengthened – CODES,” co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027.
