The third project meeting within the ADRURAL project took place on September 24, 2025, in Moravske Toplice, Slovenia, at Terme Vivat. Partners from several European countries gathered to exchange experiences, review the project’s progress, and discuss the next steps in implementing upcoming activities.
During the partners’ meeting, the activities carried out so far were reviewed, with a focus on progress within the project work packages related to project management and communication, pilot actions, the development of the online Rural Empowerment Hub platform, and the preparation of policy recommendations aimed at supporting rural development.
The meeting also included study visits to examples of good practice in Slovenia. Participants visited BeEko farm, which focuses on sustainable grain production and free-range poultry farming, as well as the Green Point by ITC Cluster initiative, a fully operational food supply chain that brings together more than 100 local farmers.
This gathering once again highlighted the importance of knowledge exchange and exploring practical solutions that contribute to the development of rural areas. Inspired by the examples of good practice seen in Slovenia, project partners will continue implementing ADRURAL activities.
The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Adriatic-Ionian Programme 2021–2027 transnational cooperation programme.
