Short description
The Digital Citizen was a project of the Institute for Youth Development and Innovation (IRIM) whose goal was to transform public libraries into digital innovation and education centres in Croatia, Serbia, BiH, and Kosovo. The project made modern educational technology available to adults and children through libraries, enabling the introduction of digital skills in local communities. INTERA Technology Park was a project partner for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through this project, 20 libraries from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina became centres of digital innovation and enabled their users to get acquainted with the latest technologies such as microcomputers - micro:bit and BOSON do-it-yourself kits, while in the second phase they also donated 3D printers.
