CODES Bootcamp has started in Mostar: 24 teams from three countries embark on an intensive startup program

The bootcamp, the first step of the pre-acceleration program within the CODES project, has started in Mostar, bringing together 24 teams from three countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Croatia. This program aims to support the development of startups and innovation capacities in the region, providing mentorship and expert guidance to help teams develop their business ideas and lay the foundations for further successful growth.

Developing Business Skills for a Successful Startup

During the bootcamp, teams will have the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors and lecturers who will provide valuable insights and knowledge on key topics for successful startup development. Through a series of workshops, participants will explore the fundamentals of the startup ecosystem, business model development, market research and competitor analysis, financial planning, and go-to-market strategies. Additionally, teams will have the chance to prepare their pitch presentations, helping them communicate effectively with potential investors and partners.

Mentorship Support for Business Idea Development

After completing the bootcamp, the four best teams from each country will continue their journey in a three-month pre-acceleration program, which includes intensive mentorship support and preparation for business idea validation. The top team from each country will then have the opportunity to participate in a six-month validation program and attend the prestigious PODIM Conference in Maribor, the leading startup conference in the region.

Cilj CODES projekta 

The goal of this project is to enhance innovation capacities and support entrepreneurs in adopting advanced technologies. The program provides cross-border support and improves business support services for existing and new SMEs. Through this process, teams will have the opportunity to develop innovative products and services that can boost both regional and global competitiveness.

The CODES project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A IPA Program Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021-2027.
