Excitement is building as the Cross Border Coworking Conference 2024: Digital Nomads Edition approaches. Returning for the fourth time, this year’s conference will gather digital nomads and professionals from around the world in Mostar from October 9th to 11th, 2024. The conference offers a unique opportunity for those looking to expand their knowledge about remote work, network with key players in the coworking industry, and discover how the region can attract and support digital nomads.
The first day of the conference is dedicated to welcoming participants and informal networking, providing a chance to make initial connections.
The second day offers a rich program led by Tamara Kojić, starting with a presentation by Paul Bradbury, an expert with over 20 years of experience living in Croatia. Paul will kick off CBCC 2024 with the topic “The Value of the Region,” sharing the key advantages of the region that can attract digital nomads.
Participants will then be able to attend one of three parallel workshops: Nienke Nina Keizer will speak on how to best promote your services, Nora Dunn will share tips on how to successfully live and work as a digital nomad, and representatives from governmental bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro will explain the legal framework and opportunities for digital nomads in the region.
After a short break, Niluka Kavanagh will lead a fireside chat discussing the pros and cons of digital nomadism, followed by three new workshops: Jelena Marković will cover the importance of self-assessment, Nadia Harris will discuss how to find the ideal remote job, and Noah Levy will explore why each participant chose the digital nomad lifestyle.
In the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a presentation of regional coworking spaces and vote for the most impressive one. Afterward, Andrea Paoletti will present his personal example of a major achievement in the coworking industry. Along with this rich program, participants will have plenty of chances to network and socialize during breaks and relaxed activities, and after the program ends, they can use their free time to explore Mostar.
The third day brings a field trip where participants will get the chance to discover some of Herzegovina’s many natural beauties, followed by an outdoor stand-up session. Elizabeth Mineman, Senahid Sarić, and Mustafa Ahmed will humorously present the region from the perspective of digital nomads. Right after the session, we’ll enjoy a communal barbecue, providing yet another opportunity for relaxed networking, and we’ll wrap up the conference with a farewell party.
Participation in the conference is completely free, and registration is still open, so we invite all interested individuals to secure their spot through our website.
This year’s edition of the Cross Border Coworking Conference is supported and co-financed by the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the Government of Montenegro, the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation of Montenegro, and Telemach.
