As part of the CODES project, INTERA Technology Park continues its efforts to strengthen the capacities of its Innovation Laboratory, with the goal of providing even higher quality technical support and services to its users.
After equipping the lab with modern, state-of-the-art machinery and developing a new work programme that outlines key areas of focus, the next logical step was to invest in the people behind the machines – the staff and mentors who work directly with users every day.
To that end, two specialised five-day workshops were organised: “From Model to G-code in SolidCAM for CNC Milling Machine” and “From Model to G-code in SolidCAM for CNC Lathe.”
The goal of these workshops was to strengthen the technical knowledge and practical skills of the lab team in using SolidCAM software to generate G-code – a key element in operating CNC machines. The knowledge gained through this training will enable staff to provide even more effective support to users in their day-to-day work within the lab.
These training activities are part of a broader effort to position the Innovation Laboratory as a regional hub for industrial support – a place where expertise, equipment, and innovation come together to meet the demands of a fast-evolving technological landscape.
The CODES project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027.
