INTERA Technology Park is bringing Global Game Jam (GGJ) to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the very first time, officially placing Mostar on the global map of cities hosting the world’s largest game development event.
Global Game Jam is an international 48-hour creative marathon during which participants work in teams to develop a video game prototype – from idea to a playable solution – based on a theme revealed simultaneously across all GGJ locations worldwide. Every year, the event takes place in hundreds of cities around the globe, bringing together thousands of programmers, designers, artists, students, and gaming enthusiasts.
Mostar as Part of the Global GGJ Community
By hosting Global Game Jam in Mostar, INTERA Technology Park is positioning Bosnia and Herzegovina within this prestigious global network for the first time. GGJ Mostar is not a classic competition, but rather an intensive collaborative experience focused on teamwork, knowledge exchange, and creative problem-solving.
Participation is open to everyone, including those without prior experience in game development. An interest in gaming, technology, and collaborative creative work is all that is required. Participants can register individually or as teams, with teams also being formed on site during the event.
