From October 14 to 17, 2025, Herceg Novi will host the Cross Border Coworking Conference (CBCC) – the leading regional event dedicated to digital nomads, remote professionals, and coworking communities from the creative and digital economy sectors.
This year’s conference is organized within the project Strengthening tourism offer in cross-border area through attracting digital nomads to the rural areas – STAR, implemented under the IPA III Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021–2027, with financial support from the European Union. The project aims to foster sustainable tourism and position the region as an attractive destination for digital nomads.
CBCC 2025 reflects the spirit of cross-border cooperation, showcasing how joint efforts of neighboring countries can create innovative and inclusive economic opportunities while contributing to regional development. The European Union’s support for this project confirms its commitment to fostering such initiatives in the Western Balkans.
The conference program features keynote speeches by global leaders in digital nomadism – Nora Dunn and Rowena Hennigan – along with a series of practical workshops and panels covering topics ranging from AI marketing to building global teams, local integration of nomads, and the growing appeal of the Balkans for digital nomads.
Special highlights include showcasing successful cross-border initiatives, coworking pitch sessions, mindfulness workshops, and networking activities designed to connect participants – from an excursion to Kotor to a stand-up session.
The conference is organized by INTERA Technology Park (Mostar), Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis (Nikšić), and the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro.
Registrations are open until September 26 at www.code-hub.eu, and more information about the program can be found here.
