Project Goals
The main objective of the ADRURAL project is to integrate results and strategies developed through various projects into a unified methodology, creating an environment for innovation in rural communities. Through five Mini Rural Living Labs (MRLLs) in partner countries, the project will test solutions tailored to the specific needs of women, youth, and vulnerable groups. The project includes:
- Development of a user-centered pilot action methodology.
- Evaluation of pilot actions and defining concrete plans for their implementation.
- Creation of a digital tool providing access to key information and resources for rural communities through the Online Rural Empowerment Hub (OREH).
- Development of policy recommendations and governance frameworks for sustainable rural development.
- Promotion of knowledge transfer and best practices, empowering rural communities and connecting various stakeholders across the region.
Expected Outcomes
ADRURAL will establish a framework for innovation in rural areas through a joint strategy and action plan, enhancing resilience, sustainability, and connectivity in rural regions. By implementing pilot actions and technological solutions, the project will reduce the innovation gap and encourage technology transfer to rural areas. Additionally, the project will provide:
- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among partners to ensure continued collaboration after project completion.
- Capacity-building for stakeholders through training, knowledge exchange, and the implementation of innovative solutions.
- The OREH online platform as a central hub for information, networking, and sharing success stories.
