You want no difficulties in finding a job in a rapidly changing world? Perhaps you already have a job, but want a better one, with a higher salary? Now you have the opportunity to be in demand on the labour market, and the best thing is that you don’t have to go any further than Mostar in order to gain skills in this field.
This spring too, new cycle of trainings in the INTERA Technology Park is reserved for one of the most demanded occupations in the world – CNC operator!
Skills for employment in the industry
This training provides a complete set of knowledge and skills needed to work in real industrial environment, and ranges from the elementary knowledge (reading a technical drawing, knowledge of material and cutting tools, etc.), through the main skills (directing the tool and the workpiece, G-code programming, etc.) to the technological lists, work orders, measurement protocols, and workplace safety measures – all the things a proper industrial CNC operator must know in order to perform his/her job independently and to perform it well. In addition, the training focuses on and instils the elements of behaviour that a top CNC operator should have: calmness, precision, tidiness, systematic approach, and accuracy.
Industrial-scale equipment
The training is conducted on the state-of-the-art machines, cutting tools, and measuring equipment with power, capacity and precision at industrial scale – allowing insight and felling of what it means to process technical material (tool steels, aluminium alloy, etc.). Only this knowhow is the ticket to the career of a true industrial CNC operator – unlike other trainings that under the name of “CNC operator” offer operating of low-production machines that are at best at the modelling or hobby level of application for wood and non-metallic material processing.
Industry tips and tricks
Once the basic skills are mastered, the training continues on to a special set of exercises revealing a number of little secrets of great experts from industry practice, (for example, on clamping and positioning of a workpiece, making the surfaces worked on perpendicular or parallel to each other, using the CNC machine to check the critical dimensions, etc.), carried out by experienced CNC operators who work daily and continuously improve their skills in the demanding industry of CNC metal processing.
Training programme novelty
This new cycle of CNC operator training introduces a novelty –it now also offers operating of CNC router for flat-pack material processing (wood, plastic, light metals). CNC routers can be used to make items such as carvings on doors, interior and exterior decorations, plaques with inscriptions, moulds, furniture, musical instruments, foam materials, as well as for engraving of almost any kind. In addition, CNC routers are also used for automation of cutting outer edges in production of parts made of composite material and thermoformed plastic.
New training cycle is set to begin on Monday, 23rd January 2022. During the three months, the participants will work through three modules – one theoretical and two practical modules involving operating a CNC milling machine and a CNC lathe machine in the INTERA TP training centre. INTERA Technology Park offers not only training, but also an opportunity to establish contacts with employers looking for new employees in this profession.
For all those interested in the training, free tryout lectures will be held on Friday, 13th January 2022 at 17:00, in order to give as clear idea on what the training offers as possible. Our door is wide open that day – come and see for yourselves what the quality of our training is, and hear the experience of our former training attendees employed in the industry.
Number of participants is limited, so don’t wait and apply now to perfect your skills and create new opportunities for your career! For any additional information about the training and the application process, please contact htec@intera.ba.
