Short description

ADRURAL is a transnational project funded through the Interreg VI-B IPA ADRION program. Its goal is to empower rural communities in the Adriatic-Ionian region through innovation and smart solutions. The project focuses on challenges such as depopulation, climate change, and lack of infrastructure. It aims to establish networks and clusters to encourage cooperation and the development of innovations. In five countries, a pilot project (Mini Rural Living Labs) will be set up to test smart solutions in different countries of the region. The results will be shared through the Online Rural Empowerment Hub (OREH). Special attention will be given to the inclusion of young people, women, and vulnerable groups. The project will create transnational strategies and tools for the sustainable development of rural communities.
