Short description
Taking into account the direct link between employment and economic growth, as well as the capacity of companies to innovate their products and services in order to be competitive on the global market, entrepreneurial and innovation skills are recognized as the key ones in job search among young people. The project was created with the aim of providing young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro with access to better education in entrepreneurship, IT, and innovation through strengthening their skills, as well as improving the curriculum of higher education organizations. The specific goals of the project included raising the awareness of key stakeholders about the benefits of the concept of open innovation, developing the curriculum and improving the capacity of young people in the field of open innovation. In order to achieve the stated goals, as part of the project, curricula for open innovation were developed at higher education institutions in Mostar and Bar, training programmes in the field of open innovation were created and implemented with a focus on technical, research and interactive skills, and media literacy skills.
The project was co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
