Happy 5th Birthday to Us!

Exactly five years ago, when we opened the doors to our coworking space, we would be lying if we said we didn’t have a slight apprehension about how we would be received by the public or how long our story would last. Now, five years later, we are proud to confidently say that we have succeeded – we have changed the mindset of our users about the benefits of working from a coworking space, our story has exceeded even our own expectations, and every day we are convinced of the potential and possibilities that lie ahead.

Today, on March 29, 2023, we have another opportunity to take stock of our accomplishments and take a moment to celebrate this significant milestone for us. In 2018, we began with a grand opening and an open house day, which gave us our first chance to meet our users, the first of whom numbered more than 900 and contributed to making our story so successful. Over the years, day after day, they have found our space to be the ideal place for work, networking, and meeting potential collaborators. We are proud of the collaborations built, the connections made, and the friendships formed, which have transformed our space from mere infrastructure to a community. This was also made possible through more than 30 Code On Meetups, 12 Fuckup Nights Mostar, 9 Hub Quizzes, over 15 Movie Nights, and four Evenings with some of the most successful local and regional companies. We’ve also hosted countless workshops, trainings, and seminars where participants have strengthened their skills in various areas, from photography to web development. We’ve been the venue for various events organized by local and regional businesses and organizations.

We are infinitely grateful to each user, event participant, and the companies and organizations that have placed their trust in us – without them, none of our activities would make sense. We are proud of the lessons learned, the changes implemented, and the suggestions embraced, all of which have made us better every day. We take pride in successfully implementing the CODE and 2CODE projects, co-financed by the European Union, which allowed us to offer our services for free for almost four years. We’ve also put efforts into changing our business model and creating ideal packages for all our users.

Today, we look forward to tonight’s 5th edition of the “Evening with…” event, where we will host Alfa Therm company, tomorrow’s open house day when anyone interested can visit us completely free of charge, and the fun we have planned for our users, colleagues, partners, collaborators, and above all, friends.

So, happy 5th birthday to us, and forgive us for celebrating it for multiple days this year – we take pride not only in the number of candles on the cake but also in everything we have achieved. Don’t worry, we don’t plan to stop here; we have many new surprises in store for our current and future users, and we are excited for every new challenge that lies ahead!
