The second Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Bosnia and Herzegovina has begun

Today, the second scientific-expert conference titled “Artificial Intelligence in Bosnia and Herzegovina – research, application, and development perspectives” began in Mostar. This important event was organized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science in collaboration with the INTERA Technology Park with the aim of promoting understanding and development of artificial intelligence (AI) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The conference has brought together numerous experts and enthusiasts in the field of artificial intelligence, commencing with the ceremonial opening by the Federal Minister of Education and Science, proffesor, Ph. D., Jasna Duraković. In the introductory part of the conference, Mr. Mark Handloff, Economic Advisor, addressed the audience on behalf of the Economic Department of the US Embassy.

Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to hear presentations on the application of artificial intelligence in engineering, education, medicine, and technological development, with a focus on practical examples of AI usage. A total of 34 papers explaining the advantages and/or drawbacks of artificial intelligence will be presented. Participants will engage in lectures and panel discussions covering various aspects of AI technology and its applications.

This conference symbolizes a step forward towards integrating advanced technologies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, enabling the exchange of knowledge and experiences that will shape the future of artificial intelligence in the region.
