The long-awaited web platform intended for digital nomads who choose Herzegovina for their stay and work has seen the light of the day!
Digitalnomadsherzegovina.com is a platform developed through the RECOOPER project, co-financed by the European Union and the Government of the FR Germany, and it will be the central place containing all the information about the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, available to all those who have put this area on the list of countries they wish to visit.
From logistical information, useful links, to natural beauties and social events, this platform offers a unique overview of everything that travellers might find or expect in Herzegovina. It facilitates one of the biggest challenges digital nomads face in new locations – it offers recommendations, suggestions, and advice, creating an ideal starting point for independent exploration of the region.
The platform is complemented by a promotional video presenting the key characteristics of the region as a digital nomad destination. Beauties of the nature, cultural sites, adventure activities, gastronomy, social life, community, and place for work are but some of the reasons making Herzegovina a great place to visit, and, why not, stay for a while.
To achieve full impact and attract digital nomads, all the stakeholders need to work together. So talk about it, share, present RECOOPER – this region is yet to reach its prime, because it undoubtedly has a lot to offer.
Work’n’Sunshine – this is the moto describing Herzegovina, and both digital nomaDs and others spending time in Herzegovina can see the truth of it every day.
The RECOOPER project is jointly implemented by the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the INTERA Technology Park. RECOOPER is part of a bigger project, EU4BusinessRecovery, through which the European Union provides support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in mitigating economic impact of COVID-19.
The EU4BusinessRecovery project is worth EUR 13.7 million, and is jointly financed by the European Union (EUR 13 million) and the Federal Republic of Germany (EUR 700 000). It is implemented by the GIZ, ILO, and UNDP.
