Workshop “Application of FEM and CFD Tools in Engineering” at INTERA Technology Park Mostar

The Finite Element Method (FEM) is used in engineering to solve and simulate complex physical processes and problems across various disciplines such as structural modeling and analysis, vehicle design, including aircraft and marine vessels, propulsion systems, and even in biomedical research. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a tool for modeling and simulating processes in many industries to solve problems involving fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, and chemical reactions.

This workshop will illuminate the fundamental principles of FEM and CFD numerical analysis and showcase their key benefits in engineering, enabling you to confidently start using these specific tools. Through several practical examples, the basic steps of each numerical analysis will be demonstrated: model preparation, simulation execution, and result analysis.
