U Code Hub-u Mostar predstavljena nova skupina digitalnih nomada
The highly anticipated second edition of the digital nomad program, organized by the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and INTERA Technology Park through the RECOOPER project, funded by the European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, officially began on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Code Hub Mostar, where the incoming digital nomads had the opportunity to meet the local community.
The casual gathering was a great opportunity to get acquainted with the community, extend a warm welcome, and connect with local freelancers, entrepreneurs, tour operators, media representatives, and other participants with whom they will have the chance to interact throughout the program. The gathering started with a brief conversation between the digital nomads and moderator Mija Bojičić, discussing their previous experiences, first impressions, and expectations. The digital nomads unanimously expressed their excitement about exploring Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country they consider an undiscovered destination for digital nomads, and they are eager to immerse themselves in the culture and way of life.
Vaidotas Norkus and Lukas Navickas from Lithuania, Ghada Ibrahim from Pakistan, Shannon Trimble from the United Kingdom, and Sharon Zaks from Israel will have the opportunity to participate in various activities over the next month, including sightseeing tours, music workshops, training sessions, and outdoor activities. In this way, they will experience all aspects of life in Herzegovina, taste local cuisine, engage with the local community, and actively promote Herzegovina as a digital nomad destination on social media based on their experiences.
RECOOPER is part of the broader project Covid-19 Investment Response/EU4BusinessRecovery, jointly financed by the European Union and the German government in Bosnia and Herzegovina to mitigate the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
