Connecting the knowledge and skills of academic communities and research centers with the needs of local businesses is a key factor in economic development. Recognizing the importance of collaboration, INTERA Technology Park is implementing the BOOST project, supported by the “Innovation and Digitization of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina/EU4DigitalSME” project, co-funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ.
As part of the BOOST project, a Public call has been opened today for all interested representatives of academic communities and research centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide services to small and medium enterprises.
The collaboration between the academic community and the business sector within the mentioned project will be supported through the Innovation Voucher Scheme, a program designed to connect representatives of both sectors to enhance the level of innovation and product quality of small and medium enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The call is open to all faculties, universities, and research centers that can provide services in the following categories:
One month after the opening of the Public call, the received applications will be evaluated, and a catalog of services and service providers will be created as an integral part of the Call for Proposals for small and medium enterprises that will be able to apply to use the presented services within their innovative projects.
The Innovation Voucher Scheme is implemented through a one-time financial support for the provided service, up to a maximum amount of 5,000.00 EUR (equivalent in BAM), with a mandatory co-financing of 10% to be provided by the small and medium enterprises collaborating with the service providers.
