RTIT>> Sustainable and Innovative Concrete Materials: Workshop and Study Visit in Pécs – APPLY NOW 

Applications are now open for a workshop and study visit in Pécs (Hungary) organised within the RTIT project. The visit is intended for small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the field of sustainable, advanced and bio-based materials, with the programme focusing on sustainable and innovative concrete materials. 

When and where? 

  • Workshop: March 04th – 05th, 2026 (Wednesday and Thursday) 
  • Travel plan: arrival on March 3rd in the evening, return on March 06th in the morning 
  • Venue: University of Pécs, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT), Pécs 

What is included in the programme? 

The programme includes hands-on demonstrations and presentations, as well as visits to relevant locations. Highlights include: – demonstration of 3D-printed concrete and earthen building systems – topics such as additive technologies in construction, life cycle assessment (LCA) of construction materials, materials for energy efficiency, durability, climate resilience and recycling – visits and a city tour (Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, Cella Septichora) 

Costs and logistics 

The following costs are covered for participants:  

– travel costs  

– hotel accommodation with breakfast 

– lunch and dinner during the programme 

Who can apply? 

  • Small and medium-sized enterprises (3–250 employees) from relevant sectors (sustainable, advanced and bio-based materials) 
  • Owners, directors, as well as technical, R&D and production roles within the company 

Requirements after returning 

Selected participants are expected to provide: – written feedback through a structured interview – a short video testimonial based on a structured format, with professional and technical support from INTERA TECHNOLOGY PARK project staff. 

Applications 

Places are available for 2–3 companies. Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis, subject to verification of the mandatory sector eligibility criteria.

The RTIT project fosters innovation in sustainable, bio-based and advanced materials by supporting the transfer of research, technology and innovation across the Danube region, with a focus on knowledge transfer through concrete pilot activities. 

The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg Danube Region Programme.
