How can digital solutions and innovation open up new opportunities for rural communities?
As part of the Forum “Digitalisation in the Service of Rural Development”, a knowledge and experience-sharing event within the ADRURAL – Empowering ADRION Rural Communities for Innovation project will be held on 16 September 2026 at INTERA Technology Park in Mostar.
The event will bring together representatives of rural communities, public institutions, organisations, entrepreneurs, the research sector and other relevant stakeholders within the rural innovation ecosystem. Its aim is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices, while creating opportunities for connecting stakeholders and fostering future cooperation.
Digitalisation as an Opportunity for Rural Communities
Special attention will be given to the application of digital technologies and innovative solutions in rural areas, as well as the opportunities digitalisation can create for the development of agriculture and rural communities.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about good practices from Herzegovina in the field of agricultural digitalisation through presentations and an exchange of experiences.
A moderated discussion will provide an opportunity for participants to share their own experiences, questions and perspectives, helping lay the foundations for better coordination, stronger connections and future cooperation among stakeholders.
About the ADRURAL Project
The event is part of the activities of the ADRURAL – Empowering ADRION Rural Communities for Innovation project, which focuses on strengthening cooperation among stakeholders, facilitating knowledge exchange and supporting the development of a rural innovation ecosystem across the ADRION region.
