Short description
The goal of the project was to improve the availability of adequate labour for employers as well as the employability of young people looking for work in the woodworking and metalworking industry, and at the same time to improve the sustainability of the training centre within INTERA TP. The goal of INTERA TP was to improve its position as a service provider for adult education and to additionally brand itself as a recognizable institution for training in CNC technologies in metal processing and to expand into all industrial branches where CNC technologies are applicable.
Within the framework of the project, formal cooperation was established with three local companies with the aim of educating adults. Two existing training programs for CNC metal processing for CNC operators and programmers were improved, and a new adult vocational education programme for CNC operators for sheet metal processing was developed. Ten trainers improved their andragogic skills, and 130 project beneficiaries developed their skills to work as CNC operators or CNC programmers. Finally, 15 participants of the training were employed in local companies from the woodworking and metalworking industry after the completion of the training.
