CONNECTO 2023 starts in just a few days, an event that is well worth visiting this time as well, because the organizers have prepared exceptional content, as every year, with an emphasis on the cooperation between the entrepreneurial diaspora and the entrepreneurial mother country and the great perspectives that this cooperation opens up.
As you probably know, CONNECTO is a three-day event that brings together local entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs from the diaspora in one place, aiming to further connect them for collaborative efforts. It provides both parties with a B2B platform for networking, meetings, and the exchange of ideas for joint cooperation.
The central focus of CONNECTO, which remains consistent, is the conference segment. Those who register for CONNECTO 2023, and there are only a few spots left, will have the opportunity to hear firsthand the stories, experiences, and thoughts of distinguished individuals, both local entrepreneurs and those from the diaspora. Hopefully, their examples will positively impact those who are open to collaboration with our people, those with offerings for future partners, or those still searching for someone with whom they can develop their business, ideas, services, or products.
The eagle has successfully landed
As the primary objective of CONNECTO, connecting entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina with those from the diaspora, remains constant, this year’s guests and speakers will also come from this environment. Since the emphasis is on successful practical examples, we warmly recommend that, as part of CONNECTO 2023 on Tuesday, July 25th, in the Europa Hall at INTERA Technology Park in Mostar, you attend an insightful conversation. Our guest in this segment of the conference will be Mr. Ivo Klarić, a man who is undoubtedly one of the most qualified to talk to us about bringing foreign investment to the homeland and turning it into a success story.
Ivo Klarić, the director of Eagle Technology, brought world-class technology for producing special machines used in the maritime industry to his hometown of Žepče. Eagle Technology in Žepče is a branch of the Norwegian headquarters located in Stavanger. Ivo Klarić arrived in Norway in 1997 with just a backpack on his back, and he journeyed from being a refugee to becoming a respected expert who served as a pillar in the company Tehnoterm in Norway for years.
While norway remained in his heart, Žepče held an even stronger place. The desire to accomplish something in his homeland was always burning within him. In 2019, after just a few years, he brought the Eagle Technology branch to Bosnia and Herzegovina and established a factory in Žepče. He proudly showcases the Žepče facility, operating under the name Eagle Technology, as a “state of the art” facility that fundamentally changes the prevailing notion that such endeavors are impossible to achieve here.
It will certainly be interesting to learn about the drive that continuously smoldered and then blazed within Mr. Klarić. How did he manage to realize his vision and establish Eagle Technology in our country, and what challenges and problems did he perhaps encounter along the way?
We will learn all about the company and its technologies and find out what it takes for something similar to sprout in another city in our country as soon as tomorrow. With Mr. Klarić, we will discuss the outlook and possibilities for the further development of the company under our conditions, and we hope you will follow this conversation closely. We look forward to seeing you at this conversation and at the entire conference.
