For twelve years, we’ve been creating a better business environment

When INTERA Technology Park opened its doors exactly 12 years ago, even we couldn’t have foreseen the achievements that lie behind us. Each July, we take the opportunity to review what we’ve accomplished and reflect on the activities that we’ve diligently pursued to continuously enhance the business environment.

Today, we take pride in successfully implementing over 50 projects funded by various European, regional, and local donors. Through these projects, we’ve created opportunities for young people, strengthened their business capacities, worked with them on developing business ideas, assisted companies in overcoming challenges, and encouraged the use of information technologies across various sectors. In recent years, we’ve brought different global trends closer to the citizens of Mostar and the region – we opened the first coworking space, Code Hub Mostar, and put Bosnia and Herzegovina on the map as a destination for digital nomads. We’ve organized hackathons and Startup Weekends, candidly discussed failures at Fuckup Nights Mostar, and through our innovation laboratory, part of the global FabLab network, we’ve provided innovators with essential resources for working on innovative ideas and prototyping their products. Through our business incubator, we’ve supported young, innovative individuals in taking their first steps into the entrepreneurial world. Through the European Enterprise Network, we’ve connected local companies with international partners, collaborators, and suppliers. Through the Training Hub, we’ve identified market needs and created a high-quality and essential workforce in various fields – from CNC operators and programmers to experts in digital marketing. Through the Moja praksa (My Internship) program, we’ve offered young people the opportunity to develop business skills and gain their first work experience in companies. We’ve organized meetups, seminars, workshops, and conferences on a variety of current topics – from digital nomads to energy efficiency. Through the traditional Connecto event, we’ve linked the diaspora with local entrepreneurs, highlighting the importance of collaboration and investment opportunities.

And the best part? We will continue to do all of this! Today, we embark on new planning and the realization of new goals.

However, please don’t mind if we take a moment today to pause and raise a toast to all that has been achieved, because this day deserves just that. So, happy birthday to us! We can’t wait for new joint activities ahead!
