This year, Mostar will once again host an exceptional event, an already established gathering of valuable domestic individuals and entrepreneurs from the diaspora. Of course, we are talking about the new edition of the traditional summer gathering of positive vibes in one place – Connecto 2024, which, just like in previous years, will take place at the Europa Hall within the INTERA Technology Park.
The conference part will be held again on the first day, specifically on Tuesday, June 25, at the Europa Hall of the INTERA Technology Park, and Connecto 2024 will continue with B2B meetings, which have also been a trademark of this event for many years – and will last until June 27, or Thursday.

Once again this year, together with the INTERA Technology Park, the organization of the Connecto 2024 event is supported by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) through the BOOST Project, co-financed by the European Union and the German government through the EU4DigitalSME project, as well as the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
Confident Steps towards Digitalization and Transformation
The organizers rightly believe that this year’s Connecto 2024 will be the largest, most attended, and highest-quality event of its kind to date, and to ensure that, the conference program will bring together very interesting guests. Each of them will, in their own way, present ideas, concrete examples, and provide advice, which will definitely make it worthwhile to be present at the Europa Hall within the INTERA Technology Park on that day.
We can confidently say – that Tuesday, June 25, will attract the right people to the right place. All conference attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand experiences and gain useful insights into the topics that are the essence of Connecto – the advancement of the domestic economy and the general transformation of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian society towards a better and more efficient future, with the support and involvement of a strong diaspora and its resources, and with the friendly assistance of organizations operating in our country, which aim to support the fusion of domestic and foreign potentials brought by the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In light of this, we proudly present two themes around which this year’s Connecto 2024 will be constructed. The first theme is the cooperation between the public and private sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and this time, in line with the venue of the conference itself, we have chosen the Herzegovina region.
Dialogue between Government and Entrepreneurs as a Pledge for the Future
Through the planned panel, we will learn about the perspectives that are opening up for private initiatives in the next period, how the dialogue between the government and entrepreneurs will be improved, and through the prism of the governments of the three cantons/counties, whose leaders will be represented at the conference.
Marija Buhač, the Prime Minister of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Predrag Čović, the Prime Minister of the West Herzegovina Canton, and Ivan Vukadin, the Prime Minister of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, will speak on the panel dedicated to future support for investors, which would lead to the creation of an exceptional business environment and economic growth in the mentioned cantons, ultimately leading to overall growth in standards and quality of life in this region.
This would, after all, be the only correct path to stopping the departure of the working-age population, and even, in perspective, the beginning of the process of return, not only of the working-age population raised in these areas but also of those who have experience in investing and doing business in the countries they went to. At the conference, we will also find out if there are already concrete measures being taken on this path towards a better future and whether it is possible to elevate the dialogue between the government and entrepreneurs to a higher level.
BOOST Project – Proof that We Want and Can!
As we have already mentioned, so that domestic authorities would not be alone in supporting investors and entrepreneurs, exceptional projects have been supporting the domestic economy for decades, such as the BOOST project, which is focused on small and medium-sized enterprises and which is successfully implemented by the INTERA Technology Park.
The BOOST project is part of the project Innovation and Digitalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in BiH/EU4DigitalSME, co-financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), with the aim of developing the economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special emphasis on digital transformation. The implementation of the project is carried out by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).
We know where you will be on Tuesday, June 25!
Of course, these are just two themes, and we will soon inform you who else will participate in the program of this year’s edition of the Connecto 2024 event. And, of course, we’ll see you from June 25 to June 27 at the premises of the INTERA Technology Park. And, of course, don’t forget to visit the official website www.connecto.ba and register, either as a guest or as an active participant in the event, which, it’s not just a phrase, must not be missed.
