Last summer, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and INTERA Technology Park opened applications for the first edition of the program for digital nomads, organized through the RECOOPER project funded by the European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. More than 150 digital nomads from around the world expressed interest in participating in this unique opportunity. Five of them spent the beginning of autumn in Herzegovina, getting to know the lifestyle, local community, and natural beauty.
Several months later, Herzegovina is ready for a new edition of the program, officially starting on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, with a special gathering with five new digital nomads at Code Hub Mostar. Precisely at 8:00 PM, they will introduce themselves through a brief conversation with a moderator, and then get to know the community through a relaxed gathering. Once again, everyone who wants to learn about this lifestyle is invited to join, as well as those who want to welcome digital nomads and show them why it’s easy to feel at home in Bosnia and Herzegovina through their work and activities. Participation is free, but the number of seats is limited according to the capacity of the venue, so all interested parties can register through the provided link.
RECOOPER is part of the broader EU4BusinessRecovery project, through which the European Union supports Bosnia and Herzegovina in mitigating the economic consequences caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The EU4BusinessRecovery project is worth 13.7 million euros, jointly funded by the European Union (13 million euros) and the Federal Republic of Germany (700,000 euros).
