Are you a woman who wants to take control of your professional future, but think freelancing isn’t for you because you’re not in the IT sector? It’s time to think again! SheWorks is a free program designed specifically for you, offering the opportunity to turn your skills—whether it’s writing, design, marketing, translation, or any other profession—into a successful freelance career. No matter what sector you’re coming from, this course will open the door to new business opportunities and allow you to shape your career on your own terms.
SheWorks is an innovative program launched to empower women in Bosnia and Herzegovina and raise awareness of modern approaches to employment and self-employment. This project provides women with the opportunity to acquire key knowledge and skills necessary to successfully enter the world of freelancing, allowing them to shape their career on their own terms.
The program includes three cycles of freelancing courses, designed to provide women with practical knowledge on how to effectively utilize their existing skills and expertise. Participants will learn how to create professional profiles on the world’s largest freelancing platforms and how to successfully attract their first clients. Through these courses, women will receive comprehensive support, opening doors to new business opportunities, enabling them to achieve financial independence and flexibility.
Additionally, the SheWorks program will include individual mentoring, giving participants the opportunity to consult with an experienced mentor who will prepare them for a successful freelancing career. The program will also feature SheWorks meetups, where successful freelancers from Bosnia and Herzegovina will share their experiences. These meetups will be a source of valuable advice and motivation, showing participants all the opportunities available to them through a freelancing career. At the end of the program, the most successful participants will be awarded a Monthly Pass package, which they can use at Code Hub, a coworking space that will provide the ideal environment for realizing their first freelancing projects.
More details on applications will be coming soon.
The project is organized by INTERA Technology Park and co-financed by the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Women’s Empowerment Small Grants Program.
