Norwegian Ambassador Visits INTERA Technology Park: Connecting Norwegian and Bosnian-Herzegovinian Innovations

On February 23, 2024, INTERA Technology Park hosted a special event that brought together representatives of the Norwegian diplomacy and the local business community. The Norwegian Ambassador Olav Reinertsen was welcomed by the Executive Director of INTERA TP, Vedran Šimunović, who extended his greetings and presented to the ambassador key projects and activities taking place in the Technology Park.

INTERA Technology Park has been supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway through the project “INTERA TP – Innovation Centre Mostar” (2014 – 2017), within which INTERA TP was established as a combined business development institution – an innovation center with elements of a technology park. Additionally, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway supported the Startup Academy project in 2016, within which INTERA TP, along with partners from Tuzla and Banja Luka, provided support to young people and women for starting and developing startup companies.

INTERA TP is also a member of the NBBA – BiH Business Association, which was established on the initiative of the Norwegian Ambassador, H.E. Olav Reinertsen, and which works on enhancing bilateral trade and investment between BiH and Norway.

This successful meeting between the Norwegian Ambassador and INTERA Technology Park serves as an example of how international cooperation can foster innovation and create a sustainable future for all participants.
