When a young person is looking for a job, one of the least favorite points in the CV is the one about previous working experience. It is not a secret that many people don’t have anything to write in that column due to the fact that they don’t have any working experience. It is also not a secret that the employers always like to hire a young person with any previous working experience rather than a person who is just about to step from the theoretical knowledge into the practical one, and who needs to be ‘shaped’ from the beginning. Nowadays, time is money, and people are looking for the already ‘finished product’. The fact, that you can enter something in the column about working experience when applying for a job, should be something you are proud of and something that makes a huge difference.
You must be wondering how a student, graduating from his/her college, or the one who has been waiting for years to be recognized at the job market, can have an opportunity to gain the working experience and knowledge through a practice?
How can he or she get an opportunity to write in his/her CV that he/she is efficient working in a group, that he/she can work on a project and to convince his/her future employer that he/she is the right person for them?
The answer is again, traditionally, INTERA Technology Park’s program “Moja praksa”, that has been helping young and ambitious people (the ones who are currently unemployed or students,) for over a decade, to start their way into business and career properly- by gaining the working experience and practical knowledge.
Through the previous cycles of the project “Moja praksa”, more than 1000 participants have gained a certificate and were able to enter certain working experience in their CV, including a work on the project and to enter the job market in this way. Many of them were recognized during the project “Moja praksa” as ideal future employees of the project partners, companies who saw this as an opportunity to connect with the people they have been looking for years, finding the profiles of people they can count on in their business plans.
The program “Moja praksa” lasts for three months and it offers to all its participants a great opportunity to become competitive on the job market through interactive trainings which include gaining knowledge about making a CV and motivation letter, leadership, team work, communication and other significant topics. The goal is to teach the participants the best skills when overcoming obstacles that can be faced with on a job interview, especially working in the new environment, all through the interactive trainings.
Through the practical part of the program “Moja praksa”, participants can show their previously adopted skills and gain the priceless working experience, especially the experience of working in a team. By working on the practical tasks prepared by the project partners they get the opportunity for a new job and many participants of the program have managed to accomplish that through all these years.
They can confirm how much this program, successfully conducted by INTERA Technology Park, has helped them to get the job they wanted and it is important to emphasize that they do it easily, skipping all the usual problems people have when looking for a job at today’s job market.
Through this year’s program “Moja praksa”, beginning at the end of February, INTERA Technology Park will again cooperate with renowned companies that will enter the program with their project assignments and include their mentors who will pass their rich experience on the participants.
