There is a little less than a month left until the third edition of the Cross Border Coworking Conference, which this year will also focus on the needs of digital nomads and the potential of the region to become a desirable destination. The conference, jointly organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis and INTERA Technology Park in cooperation with the National Tourist Organization of Montenegro, will take place in Nikšić from Monday, October 9th, to Wednesday, October 11th, 2023.
This year, the program will also start on Monday evening with speed networking and relaxed socializing so that all participants can get to know each other and make their first contacts. The main part of the program is planned for Tuesday when the potential of the region to attract digital nomads, remote work and the challenges faced by digital nomads will be discussed. This year, the host of the conference will be Tamara Kojić, who, right at the beginning, after the welcome speeches, will introduce the conference participants with the details of the program, as well as the reasons why this conference is being organized for the third year in a row. After Tamara, Svetlana Tomković from the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro and Stanislava Borovac, coordinator of the Tourist Cluster Herzegovina, will present the current state and potential of these countries. Anna Dueck will talk about digital nomads in general, their lifestyle and needs, and Vesna Jovanović Vojinović from the ICT Cortex cluster, Nedima Džaferagić, human resources expert, and Stjepan Buljat from Cognism will talk about remote work and the experience of local companies. The program will also feature interactive workshops during which Francesco Cirillo, the founder of the Pomodoro technique, will talk about time management, and Shandra Barker about the burnout syndrome. The program will be completed by Ghada Ibrahim and Anna Maria Kochanska, who will present their experiences of life in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina through a video, and participants will have the opportunity to meet representatives of 12 regional coworking spaces who will present their communities and resources. Steve Tsentserensky will talk about the inclusion of digital nomads in the local community, and the personal branding workshop will be held by Tanja Džido, an expert in branding and marketing. The program will end with a presentation by Janosch Dietrich, who will present the coliving space Coconat, and closing words by Tamara Kojić. This year, a new feature has been introduced – on Wednesday, the participants will be treated to an idyllic cruise on Boka Kotorska and a whole day of socializing as an opportunity to exchange impressions and experiences.
Participation is free again this year, and all those interested can register on the official website.
This year’s edition was co-financed by the European Union and the Government of Germany through the Covid-19 Investment Response/EU4BusinessRecovery project.
