Stand-up comedy is becoming increasingly popular in the region, even in Mostar, where various clubs and bars are frequently packed to capacity. At the beginning of June, four stand-up comedians from the region will come together in Mostar, but in a slightly different format because INTERA Technology Park is organizing a new edition of Fuckup Nights Mostar!
On Thursday, June 1, 2023, starting at 8 pm, the Mostar audience at Calamus Club, will first hear stories of failures from Goran Vinčić, who describes himself as the most energetic Balkan stand-up comedian. He has an extensive and sold-out tour of his show called “Dežurni krivac”, and the audience also has the opportunity to see him on the RTL show “Stanje nacije”, where he skillfully dissects social phenomena. Following the popular Vinčić, Omer Hodžić, a native of Mostar with over 800 performances throughout the Balkans, will share his story. His performances, which he describes as provocative and brutally honest, have been recorded by TV1 and Comedy Central, as well as numerous mobile phones from the audience. Omer will be followed by Tomislav Primorac, who describes himself as a failed comic book artist, bassist, and physicist. He started his career one evening in Zagreb when he took advantage of an open mic night at Studio smijeha for his first performance. Today, he is a member of the Splicke Scene, a group of stand-up comedians from Split. The June evening in Mostar will conclude with another native of Mostar, Igor “Iggy” Drljo, who humorously refers to himself as the smallest Herzegovinian who became a true Herzegovinian when he moved to Zagreb. He has been doing stand-up comedy since 2013, and the audience remembers him as a participant in the first season of the RTL show “Direktor Svemira”.
Accustomed to entertaining the audience with their jokes, this time they will have a slightly more challenging task – they will be talking about themselves, their mistakes, and failures, but laughter will not be lacking. Fuckup Nights Mostar Vol. 14 is organized with the support of the web portal Bljesak.info.
