Short description
The goal of the project was to strengthen entrepreneurial competencies with an emphasis on employment and the creation of innovative startup companies in order to increase the competitiveness of the cross-border area. The project included activities focused on the entrepreneurial capacities of young people who were tested and trained in the sphere of entrepreneurship over the course of two years. Through the conference, trainings, study visits, meetings with potential investors, and the preparation of crowdfunding campaigns, the foundations for the accelerated growth and development of startup companies were created. Through the project, entrepreneurship centres were also established and members of the team of project partners were trained in order to provide better support to entrepreneurs in the cross-border area.
Lead partner
The Development Agency of Sisak-Moslavina County SI-MO-RA was the project coordinator and responsible for the overall implementation of project activities, communication between project partners and reporting and financial management of the project. SI-MO-RA carried out project activities related to the local area, including the organization of testing for project beneficiaries from the three countries involved, trainings for the target group from Croatia, B2B meetings for beneficiaries from the cross-border area, a study visit, and the preparation of crowdfunding and marketing campaigns for startup teams from Croatia.
Project partner 2
The innovative entrepreneurial centre Tehnopolis from Nikšić implemented all project activities closely related to the local area with special emphasis on the organization of training, preparation of crowdfunding and marketing campaigns for startup teams from Montenegro, and the organization of training and internships for team members of newly established entrepreneurial centres.
Project partner 3
The Foundation for Innovation and Technological Development from Mostar implemented project activities related to the local area, including the organization of an educational conference for the target group from the involved countries, training for local startup teams, and the preparation of crowdfunding and marketing campaigns. INTERA TP was the project's communications manager and was responsible for the development of the visual identity and interactive platform. Through the project, INTERA TP established an entrepreneurial centre.
