Short description
The EXPO-CERTinno project was focused on increasing the competitiveness of the metal-processing and wood-processing sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project created the "Digital Academy for companies in the metal-processing and wood-processing sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina". The project's activities were focused on the certification of target companies from the mentioned sectors in accordance with the EU standards and the implementation of the innovation management assessment methodology. In addition, the project enabled the use of business development services and e-learning tools for target companies. As a result, the project led to an increase in exports by the target companies, and to new jobs.
The project was carried out by the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a leading partner, in cooperation with INTERA Technology Park from Mostar and the INAF d.o.o. Company Sarajevo.
The project lasted 18 months, and the total value of the project was EUR 142,626.49, of which the European Union financed EUR 114,070.84 through grants under EU4Business.
