Short description
The goal of the project was to train and motivate young women from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro to start a career and develop an entrepreneurial spirit in the ICT sector through the exchange of best practices, informal education, and the transfer of knowledge and skills from European partners. The project improved entrepreneurial and leadership skills as well as employment opportunities for young women in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Also, new learning approaches and key competencies in specialized ICT topics were developed through new training variants. Finally, the Regional Entrepreneurial Hub of Women in ICT "Women4ICTHub@WB" was established with the aim of providing sustainable support to regional promotion, training, and business for young women in ICT in BiH and Montenegro.
The above results were achieved through capacity building activities and exchange programmes. Capacity building activities included workshops on the topics of strengthening entrepreneurial mind-set and skills, development of specialized ICT skills as well as digital learning skills, while exchange programmes enabled internationalization during a summer school dealing with female entrepreneurship in the EU in Slovenia and an exchange on the topic of strengthening modern working skills in ICT and entrepreneurship in Bulgaria.
