Short description

Through the implementation of six cycles of Startup Academy in Mostar, Tuzla, and Banja Luka, the project increased the capacity of women and young people to start and successfully run their own business. The Startup Academy is an innovative learning-by-doing model of developing a business idea into a company. As part of the project, a total of six Startup Academy cycles were conducted, two by each project partner, one of which was intended for women and the other ones were for young people. Through a set of activities consisting of specialized trainings, mentoring, a Demo Day, the awarding of development grants and a mobility program, the participants were provided with an excellent foundation for starting and running a startup company. Also, development and dissemination of a business manual and a conference on entrepreneurship and employment promoted opportunities and provided resources in employment and self-employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
