Representatives of INTERA Technology Park participated in the 2nd consortium meeting of the ADRURAL project, held in Šibenik, Croatia, on the 13th and 14th of May 2025. The meeting, hosted by project partner PP3 – DIH Agrifood Croatia, brought together representatives from all consortium partners, including organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia, and Greece.
The two-day event provided an opportunity for partners to share updates on their activities, discuss project milestones, and coordinate upcoming tasks. Throughout the meeting, partners presented their progress on key project components, including activities that reflect the substantial work achieved since the start of the project. Discussions also covered the preparation of the first round of partner reports, emphasizing the importance of timely and accurate data sharing to ensure effective project management.
The meeting concluded with a site visit to the DIH AFC shellfish farm, offering a hands-on perspective on innovative aquaculture practices. The farm’s establishment was co-financed by the EU through a previous project, serving as a compelling example of how strategic investments can drive innovative agricultural production.
With these productive discussions and collaborative sessions, the ADRURAL project continues to progress toward its goal of promoting sustainable rural development and cross-border cooperation in the Adriatic region.
The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Adriatic-Ionian Transnational Cooperation Program 2021 – 2027.
