One year after the successful first edition, everyone interested, will have a new opportunity for networking, cooperation and experience sharing at SmAgTech EXPO event that will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd and Thursday, November 24th 2022. As the previous year, this year it will also be held in an online form and the application links will be available on the social networks of the VIRAL project through which this event is organized.
During these two days the participants will again have the opportunity to be part of the fair and conference program, intended, not only for the agriculture and similar companies, but also for the representatives of the public administration, IT sector and students. The program will again be focused on presenting the potential of the cooperation of agricultural and IT sector and the visitors will be able to see more than 60 stalls that will present different companies, institutions, projects and programs. Through 20 presentations participants will have an opportunity to listen to the newest trends in the application of the information technologies in agricultural sector. They will also be able to listen to the young people and students who participated the recently held hackathon in Prijedor.
This edition is also organized as a part of the VIRAL project which is financed from the EU funds through Erasmus+ program. The coordinator of the VIRAL project is the University of Banja Luka and the project is being conducted by the University Džemal Bijedić Mostar, University of Mostar, University of Tuzla/ Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Bijeljina, University of Donja Gorica, University of Waigenigen, University of Maribor, University of Bucharest, Agro-fruit, Jaffa- commerce, Plantations 13th Jul, Western Balkans Institute, Banja Luka Innovation center, Innovation and business center Tehnopolis, Intera Technology Park and Montenegro Association for new technologies MANT.
