The project aims to promote innovation and technical culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina and encourage the application of innovations in the economy. A FabLab (Fabrication Laboratory) is a digital manufacturing workshop and part of a global network of local spaces that enable innovation through personal access to digital fabrication tools. The FabLab concept originated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA and has since expanded worldwide, fostering collaboration with the private sector, higher education and scientific institutions, industry, and startups. As a community resource, FabLab offers open access to individuals and businesses. The project's specific objectives include strengthening the capacity of FabLab Mostar and raising public awareness of the opportunities for utilizing its services.
