Technology has been undoubtedly progressing every day, and the technological innovation is altering the concept of the world as it used to be. Nowadays, modern technologies are applied in almost every segment of life, whereas the novelties created through application of different technologies result in their application in all sectors of economy. Among the technologies garnering more and more attention are certainly the web3 and the blockchain technologies, which, although mostly used in the financial sector, also find their application in science, health care, intellectual property, public administration, and other sectors. Global trends require their application in data storage and transfer, using this decentralised system secured with cryptography that makes data private, lasting and confidential.
Possibilities for application, but also the level of their development, both in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in the region and in the world, are exactly going to be the topic of the new conference titled Web3 & Blockchain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, jointly organised by the INTERA Technology Park and the FBiH Ministry of Education and Science. The conference, which will take place in May 2023 in the INTERA Technology Park, will be an opportunity to discuss the latest trends and application of these technologies in different fields. After the last year’s conference on artificial intelligence, this conference will continue down a well-trodden path and, using the recipe for success, be an opportunity for scientists, innovators, and technophiles to present their papers, research, and innovation. The goal of the conference is to take stock of the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, as well as to present in more detail the scientific approach to data distribution and use in general.
All those interested in presenting their views on application of these technologies in various sectors can apply on this link, and submit the summary of their paper (in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and English) with a general overview of the reference literature to email@example.com. Deadline for registration of presentations is Tuesday, 28th February, at 23:59 h.
