INTERA Technology Park announces the launch of the Erasmus+ Web3 Innovation HUB (W3IH) project, which will, over the next three years, contribute to the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Western Balkans through Web3 technologies, blockchain innovations, and decentralized science (DeSci).
With a budget of €890,000, this project is implemented by a consortium of 10 partner institutions from both academia and industry: University of Montenegro (UoM) University of Sarajevo (EFSA), University of Mostar (SUM), University of Split, Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism (UNIST), University of Belgrade, The Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON), Croatian Association for Blockchain and Cryptocurrency (UBIK), Attic42 (A42), Moonstruck (MSTR), digitalizuj.me (DIG) and INTERA Technology Park (ITP)
WEB3IH project main objective is to strengthen higher education and entrepreneurial capacities through three key areas:
A special focus will be given to the Women in Web3 initiative, aiming to empower women in the blockchain industry and encourage their greater involvement in the Web3 ecosystem.
The consortium’s kick-off meeting took place on February 12-13, 2025, in Podgorica, marking the official start of the project. This groundbreaking initiative serves as a bridge between academia and industry, laying the foundation for the future of the digital economy in the region.
