There is an abundance of solutions available on the market that enable cost reduction, error minimization, process acceleration, accuracy, and precision in work, ultimately leading to higher service and product quality and profit maximization. How to smartly digitalize critical processes within a company and what to consider when procuring software/digital solutions for this purpose – is the main topic of this workshop, which will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at INTERA Technology Park starting at 10:00 AM in Oslo Hall (first floor).
Don’t miss the opportunity to learn how your company can use the latest digital tools to optimize its operations and gain a competitive advantage.
In the first part of the workshop, we will discuss software solutions generally classified under the category of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), which aim to effectively manage all processes and resources – from finances, goods/materials, to human resources, and projects/activities. If you are involved in any way in shaping and optimizing processes in company management, departments, or projects – this is the workshop for you.
In the second part of the workshop, find out how to robustly manage technical data in product development processes and technical solutions using specific engineering tools.
The workshop is primarily, but not exclusively, intended for companies or professionals who can benefit from it in their work, but all those interested in these topics are welcome – future (young) entrepreneurs, independent experts, students, etc.
Agenda of the workshop:

The workshop is organized within the DIGIMET project, which is part of the project Innovations and Digitalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in BiH/EU4DigitalSME, jointly funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ) with the aim of developing the economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special emphasis on digital transformation. The project is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
*) We will explore key strategies and advantages that digitalization brings in today’s business world, and consider the essence of digitalizing business processes, methods of implementation, and numerous benefits it brings to small and medium-sized enterprises. The presentation will provide a theoretical introduction to digitalization, providing an in-depth understanding of its significance in business modernization.
**) Practical demonstration of the innovative ERP product cHector, designed to transform business and increase its efficiency, and which represents a key component for efficient digital transformation.
***) SolidWorks PDM (Product Data Management) – a tool for managing and complete control over all technical product data. It allows version control of documentation, ensures access to the most current files, controls who has access to data and documents, enables storage of CAD models and accompanying documents (from emails to images) in an indexed central repository on the company’s server that tracks versions and automates workflow.
****) Specific functionality called “configurations” in the SolidWorks engineering package enables great flexibility and robustness in parametric design of technical products. Parts and assemblies can be configured in such a way that significant time savings can be achieved in the production of production documentation, while completely eliminating errors typically encountered during technical drawing changes.
