Workshop on the Digitalization of Processes in SMEs at INTERA Technology Park was held

An informational workshop titled “Digitalization of Processes in SMEs” was held at INTERA Technology Park in Mostar. The event attracted significant attention from experts, entrepreneurs, and students in the fields of computer science and technology.

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Oslo Hall hosted inspiring lectures and presentations by experts from various fields. Dražena Gašpar from HERA Ltd. Mostar delivered an introductory lecture on all the benefits and challenges of implementing digital solutions for business processes in small and medium-sized enterprises.

Ivica Ćorić from the same company presented the cHector ERP system, emphasizing its role in efficiently managing all aspects of a company. Marijan Marković from STROJOTEHNIKA Ltd. Zagreb introduced ways to manage technical data through the use of SolidWorks PDM tools. Mladen Kostić from INTERA Technology Park demonstrated the practical application of configurations in SolidWorks, offering participants practical advice and examples that they could immediately apply in their work.

“The workshop was very interesting, especially in the context of ERP solution implementation, and very useful because it now gives us a clearer understanding of how, including with some locally available solutions, we can introduce some changes in our current way of working,” said Anel Rahimić from Tuzlafarm Ltd.

The workshop provided participants with concrete insights into the importance of digitalizing processes and encouraged them to further explore and implement digital tools in their companies.

The workshop was organized as part of the DIGIMET project, which is part of the project Innovations and Digitalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in BiH/EU4DigitalSME, jointly funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ) with the aim of developing the economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special emphasis on digital transformation. The project is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
